Many different types of indexing are currently offered.
Every section has these:
Organisation name index
These indexes include all organisation names, alternative
names, translated names, acronyms and abbreviations, former names.
All names index:
In addition to the main name, this searches the names of associated,
parent and subsidiary organisations and branch offices. For publishers
it also finds imprints, representatives and distributors; for
libraries: named collections. Useful if the organisation name
search fails.
Personal name index
Selects the organisation by the name of an individual employee.

Job title index:
Selects organisations with a named individual in a particular
job, such as Sales, or Production.
Geographic
indexes
The printed
EBW product allows selection by country and town; the electronic
products also offer selection by postcode and street.
Subject index
The subjects
are based on the organisations' own replies (not on a fixed list
of subjects) supplemented by our own classification with over
3,500 subjects.

Fax and telephone number indexes:
Retrieves organisations by their fax or telephone
numbers or area code prefixes. Typing the prefix code on its own

Territories of reps: Geographic territories of publishers

Customer services index: Special services to clients
